Some of us, like me for instance, could see this trainwreck coming a mile away. Fold up the tents, folks. Time to DFA Alfonzo, trade Kennedy, call up Jered Weaver, and let the kids take us the rest of the way. Let's start getting ready for 2007.

I still have faith. No need to do anything drastic yet.
I've been trying to help my daughter understand that the Angels have only been expected to do well for the last few years, so she needs to accept that this may be a year when they lose more than they win. However, that doesn't mean they have to trade off those few guys that are doing okay. Fortunately they released Alfonzo today, but instead of callinf up Little Weaver, they brought up Jason Bulger instead. I still haven't completely given up on the season, but I'm getting a bit more realistic about it.
The division is too weak to give up. Especially if Jared Weaver turns out to be something special.
Jeff Weaver needs to be released.
Figgins will be involved in any deal for a hitter. He has become the Gary Petis of a new generation. Hopefully Quinlan, too. I'd give Kennedy a little bit more time, but not much.
Stay the course! I will throw in the towel and say "enough!" if the Kansas City Royals sweep the Angels in Anaheim in the second week of June. My pre-season picks included the Angels winning the AL West and losing in the first round ALDS. Yes, I am writing this AFTER Kendry Morales got 3 hits in his first 3 at bats and I expect Weaver the Elder to lose tomorrow's game against the Texas Toxoids.

i'd trade Figgy before i'd trade AK --
btw, Marc Crawford as coach of the LA Kings? This one should be interesting...
Marc Crawford?
Time the demote the Kings from my list of teams I don't care about to my list of teams I actively can't stand.
